Nice set of 18th century French andirons.
They are beautifully crafted by a talented blacksmith.
The front bar is of later date to add stability.

These andirons are easy in use and make stacking logs easier and safer. They also “fill” the hearth better then single barred andirons.

Nice patina, great set.
